An
Italian dressing mixture is a flavorful combination of eight heady herbs that once mixed together can be used for not only a salad, but also a marinade for many dishes.
What
is great about Italian dressing is that it saves wonderfully, and doesn't have
to refrigerated. The following is my famous homemade Italian dressing, mix it
up in a carafe, or clean mustard bottle.
Ingredients:
1
tablespoon of each:
Garlic
powder
Onion
powder
Dried
Oregano
Dried
Thyme
Dried
Basil
Parsley
Ground
Black Pepper
1/4
teaspoon of Celery Salt
1/4
Cup Vinegar Red Wine (substitute can be white or balsamic vinegar)
2/3
Cup Olive Oil
Mix
all together by hand using a whisk, or blender.
This
mixture can be used to marinade steaks, Beef Roast, fish, pork and chicken.
