Grilled Salmon on the Barbie

The best thing about the nice weather is the ability to turn on that grill and create delicious meals. My favorite is Grilled Salmon and Asparagus on the grill. Quick and simple! Here's how ya do it.

Asparagus
1 piece of Salmon per person (leave skin on the bottom it will protect the meat from burning)
Olive Oil spray

Betty's Seafood rub:

In a Small bowl mix the following ingredients and mix well. I do not measure my ingredients, instead use a pinch of each. A pinch is when you take our thumb and index finger and grab a small amount, that's a pinch. You can always add more of something, but start off small and test away.

Ground Black Pepper
Celery Salt
Dry Mustard
Paprika
ground Ginger
Cardamon
Dill
Cinnamon
(Old Bay, if you really need it)

Rub the mixture on one side of the Salmon.

Brush a little of the Olive Oil on a hot grill rack, then place your Salmon on the oiled area. Cook for 5-7 minutes then turn over and cook an additional 5 minutes until it begins to start to fall apart when touched.  You should also place your asparagus on the grill at the exact same time as you place the Salmon on the grill - turn them frequently.   Enjoy!
