Salad Lunch Idea

Have you ever wanted to take a salad to work but found that everything was mushy once you got to work? Well here is a perfect solution. Go grab yourself a couple of Sistema's lunch to go or any of their snap to go combo sets. You won't be sorry.

By making your own salad at home, then bring it in for lunch, you'll save money and know exactly how your food was handled. Many times I've gone to a salad bar and lost my appetite at just looking at how the food is dried out, or old looking. When you control your own food intake, you also control your spending habits. Salad bar will cost you in weight between $5-9 per salad. Bring your own can cost you approximately $2-3 per meal. You do the math and start saving. Ok so you'll have to go to the grocery store and buy the lettuce, carrots, radish, zucchini, squash, nuts, dried fruit, chicken, and croutons and it will cost you about $15 for the week. That's less than $3 per day, per meal. Isn't that better than say $7.50 on average for a salad at your local salad bar? I'll take $15.00 a week versus $37.50 any day of the week.
