All-Purpose Seasoning Mix
Have you ever wondered how hard it would be to make your own seasoning mixes? Well, every month I will highlight a mix and give you the ingredients to make your own. Since you'll be doing a lot of grilling in the coming months, let's start out with the all-purpose seasoning mix.
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon dried coriander
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried mustard powder
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon bay leaf
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 teaspoon dried spearmint
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
Directions:
In your food processor, combine all of the above ingredients into the bowl and mix until you have a fine powder. Please make sure that all ingredients are pulverized into powder. Use an air-tight cover and container to store your seasoning mix. Label it and enjoy saving money.
