Beef Tips on the Barbie



Beef Tips on the Barbecue are simple and easy. Grab yourself a package of either metal or wooden sticks (soak the wooden ones in water for about 10 minutes to prevent burning over the fire), and your favorite marinated meat, then cook on the grill for approximately 10 minutes on each side.

I always marinade my meat for a minimum of 6 hours before cooking, or longer depending on time.  A simple marinade is just that, simple. Here's a quick one to tantalize your taste buds.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoons of garlic (freshly minced if possible)
2 teaspoons of oregano
2 teaspoons of basil
2 dashes of McCormick's Steak seasoning
4 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Whisk up the marinade then pour over your meat in a resealable container.  The marinade is also great for keeping your meat moist while on the grill. I usually spoon some of it over the top during cooking. Enjoy
