Entertaining around the holidays can be a bit tiresome, but it doesn't have to be when you serve yummy, comfort food. Pigs in a Blanket are always a big hit with any crowd.
Pigs in a Blanket
1 package of Vienna sausage or even hot dogs cut into thirds
3 packages of Croissant dough in your refrigerator section
Butter spray
Heat oven based on package directions for Croissants
Simply open the package of Croissant dough and roll out on a cutting board. Cut dough into three sections, long wise. Roll sausage or hot dog pieces up in dough and place on a butter sprayed cooking sheet. Cook 12-15 minutes and serve. Here is a hint, you can precook these little morsels by under cooking them by 5 minutes. When your about to serve to your guest reheat them for 5 minutes, however, they are best served when cooked for full 12-15 minutes. Serve with either horseradish mustard or your favorite dipping sauce. Happy Entertaining!
