Curry Powder
In honor of India's Celebration of their Republic I'm going to celebrate with them by introducing you to Curry Powder. Curry powder is awesome in so many dishes, from curried chicken and rice, to curried beef and vegetables, to curried fish cooked on the grill; all I can say is yum to all uses of curry. Having various types of curries in your pantry makes for an opportunity to wow your dining guests, so try our different recipes and find the one that fits your culinary palette.
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons cardamon powder
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoon fenugreek
2 teaspoons whole cloves
2 teaspoons black pepper
Directions:
In your food processor, combine all of the above ingredients into the bowl and mix until you have a fine powder. Please make sure that all ingredients are pulverized into powder. Use an air-tight cover and container to store your seasoning mix. Label it and enjoy saving money.
