Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix

Ranch Dressing mix is used in many culinary dishes. It’s normally thought of as a salad dressing, but it’s also used to coat pork chops before breading and frying, or it can be used as a dipping sauce for chicken wings smothered in barbeque sauce or even for simple veggings as an appetizer. This is why it’s good to have the mix on hand in the pantry. When you make it from scratch it saves money and tastes so much better. Here’s my recipe:

 ½ cup minced parsley

1 tbs dill

1 tbs garlic powder

1 tbs onion powder

1 tbs black pepper

2 tbs dried chives

1 tbs salt

1 cup dried buttermilk powder (see how to make dried buttermilk powder)

Mix together and store in an air tight container. Shelf life should be 1 year.
