Herb Blend Salt Free

 


One of the thing I love about cooking is learning how to create your own recipes to mimic those expensive store bought herb blends to help enhancee your dishes. Take Mrs. Dash seasoning for example, it's actually an old English no salt herb blend that has been around for centuries. Here's how to make it: 


4 tsp seseme seeds

2 tsp celery seeds

2 tsp marjoram

2 tsp poppy seeds

2 tsp ground pepper

 Combine all ingredients into a mortor and pestle and grind until a fine powder. Put into a sealed jar or container and you've got homemade Mrs. Dash seasoning.
