Tex-Mex seasoning is great for so many southwestern dishes such as Salsa, chili, enchiladas, fajitas, beef skillet, black bean dip, nachos, and fiesta dip. corn casserole, oh the list is endless.
Combine the following in a mortar and pestle:
2 tbsp dried parsley
4 tsp dried minced onions
4 tsp chili powder
3 tsp dried minced chives
3 tsp ground cumin
grind all the above into a fine powder and store in an airtight container in a cool, dry space. Stores for up to 6 months and makes about 6 tbsp in the end.
