A few weeks ago I finished the original contents of these pickles but didn't want to waste the 1/4 jar of juice. So I looked in my crisper drawer to see if I had a cucumber that would begin to go bad in a few days, and I did. Grabbed my hand slicer device and I sliced up the cucumber into thin slices and refilled the jar. I then added 1/8 cup of white vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon of pickling salt to the jar, put the cap back on shook it up, and put it back in the fridge. Just tried one of the slices and oh my god it tasted so good.
