Parma Broccoli
Broccoli is a staple in my dinner rotation, but I like it
made semi-different to ensure I don’t get sick of the same ole broccoli side dishes
with my dinner. This is definitely a good way to cook it.
Ingredients
1 Head of Broccoli
Garlic slices
Salt
Pepper
Breadcrumbs
Parmesan cheese flakes
Olive oil
Directions
Preheat a baking sheet on the lower rack in a 450-degree F oven.
Blanch 1 head chopped broccoli in boiling water with salt and sliced garlic for
1 minute: drain. Toss with a splash of olive oil, a handful each of breadcrumbs
and parmesan, a pinch of salt and pepper. Place on the hot baking sheet and top
with more cheese and breadcrumbs; roast until golden, 15 minutes.
