Instructions
Prepare my simple homemade BBQ sauce ahead of time! https://potpourrioffrugality.blogspot.com/2014/07/bbq-sauce.html
And set it in the fridge.
Reserve ½ cup BBQ sauce for basting the chicken as it is
grilling.
Place 1 pound chicken breast in a Ziplock or airtight
container. Pour the remaining homemade BBQ sauce over top of the chicken. Seal
or close the container and marinate for at least one hour. I generally marinate
my meat overnight to ensure good flavor in the meat.
Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the marinated BBQ
chicken in the center of the grill. Grill for 18 minutes.
Baste the ½ cup of reserved BBQ sauce on the chicken as it
is cooking.
Flip the chicken over and finish grilling on the other side
until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
