I love a good burger on the grill, but find they’re not seasoned enough to truly enjoy, so I came up with this BBQ Burger seasoning trick. Try it and enjoy it. FYI, you can store this blend in an airtight container for up to three months and sprinkle generously on meats before cooking!
Ingredients:
1½ pounds ground beef
2 cloves of garlic minced
3 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce plus more for brushing
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon steak seasoning
4 hamburger buns for serving
Toppings
Sliced cheese
Lettuce
Tomato
Pickle slices
Thinly Sliced onion
BBQ Sauce or Ketchup
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix all burger ingredients together until
just combined.
Shape the meat into 4 equal-sized patties. Use your thumb to
make an indentation in the center of each patty.
Grill the burgers over medium-high heat for 5 minutes on
each side, until they reach your desired doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, brush the tops of the
burgers with a little more barbecue sauce. Add the cheese and allow it to
slightly melt.
Remove the burgers from the grill and allow them to rest for
a few minutes. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
