Chicken Tikka

Tender, boneless chicken is transformed by a vibrant yogurt marinade brimming with spices like garam masala, turmeric, coriander, and chili powder. Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons garam masala

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed

 Metal or wooden skewers

Directions

In a large bowl, whisk together the first 12 ingredients. Add chicken, tossing to coat. Cover; refrigerate 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 350°. On metal or soaked wooden skewers, thread chicken. Place on a parchment or foil-lined rimmed baking sheet; bake until chicken is cooked through, 25-30 minutes.
