Japanese Sesame Salad Dressing

 

If you're venturing into homemade salad dressings, each one is an ideal starting point, but this Japanese Sesame dressing is perfect to use up or add Asian ingredients to your pantry shelf. It's quick to whip up in under five minutes with common pantry staples.  Tangy, spicy, and savory, it perfectly complements Asian salads and works wonders as a marinade or dipping sauce. Enjoy maximum flavor without any fuss! This is great to use over salad, use as a marinade for chicken, pork, or even beef for stir-fry dishes. 

Yield 1 cup

Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup rice vinegar

1/4 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon sesame oi

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons minced fresh gingerroot

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

Place all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake well. Refrigerate until serving. Shake dressing again just before serving.
