Cappuccino

Momma Videccia used to say that the best way to make Cappuccino was to us espresso coffee, but I’ve actually used regular coffee with chicory in it with a little chocolate powder and it was awesome.

How To Make Cappuccino

Here’s how to do it:

1.      Make coffee

2.      Blend milk and heat it up

  1. Pour the milk into the coffee mug
  2. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1/3-1/2 cup whole milk, chilled

Espresso (or coffee of choice)

Instructions

Blend the milk for 20-30 seconds. Heat on the stove for about a minute or in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. The milk should not be overheated - no boiling on the stove or spilling over in the microwave, it will result in thinner foam. I use a hand mixer to foam up the milk before pouring it into the cup.

Make an espresso (or coffee) the way you usually like it in the mug you will drink out of. If you wish to add flavor, add it before the coffee - it will spread more evenly.

Pour gently the foamy milk into the coffee mug.

Enjoy your cappuccino!
