Stuffed Pepper Soup

Ingredients

2 pounds of ground beef

6 cups water

1 can (28 ounces) tomato sauce

1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained

2 cups chopped green peppers

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules

1 teaspoon pepper

2 cups cooked long grain rice

Chopped fresh parsley, optional

Directions

Start by cooking the beef in a Dutch oven until it's nice and brown, then add in all the flavorful ingredients and let it simmer to perfection, for about 45 minutes.

Once the peppers are tender, stir in the cooked rice and let it all simmer ( about 15 minutes) together for a delicious final touch. Top it off with some chopped parsley for a fresh burst of flavor.
