Pork Chop For One
When I make a pork chop, I cook up sauerkraut and sprinkle
some Worstershire sauce on it to season it a bit, then cook the pork chop with
this recipe and serve it with mashed or roasted potatoes, French green beans,
the seasoned kraut and some apple sauce on the side. Love it. Hope you enjoy
this recipe as much as I do.
Servings: 1 serving
Ingredients
1 boneless pork chop (½-inch thick)
½ tablespoon olive oil
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ cup of seasoned breadcrumbs or Shake ‘N Bake seasoning
1 Egg
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon coarsely ground black
pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a small baking
sheet with foil or parchment paper and lightly grease it.
Rub olive oil evenly over both sides of the pork chop.
In a small bowl, mix the salt, smoked paprika, garlic
powder, breadcrumbs or Shake ‘N Bake seasoning and black pepper. Beat the egg
as if you were going to scramble it then dip the pork chop into it and ensure
all sides are coated, then dip into the dry good mixture and cover all sides.
Place the pork chop on the prepared baking sheet and bake
for 20-25 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Remove the pork chops from the oven, cover it with foil, and
rest for 10 minutes before serving.
