A vinegarette is simple and can be modified depending on your meal. Doesn’t always have to be for a salad, it can also be a marinade. This recipe is the basic recipe for a simple vinegarette. I will post up other vinegarette recipes throughout the month that are both savory and fruity and sweet. Try them all and then tell me which is your favorite.
Yields 8 servings
Ingredients
½ cup red wine
vinegar
½ cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons white
sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 clove crushed
garlic
Directions
Combine vinegar, oil, sugar,
salt, and garlic in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Cover and shake until
mixture is well combined. Store in an airtight container in fridge for up to a
week. Enjoy
