I have always used this recipe when I make Shrimp Scampi.
The sauce can also be used to cover, roasted veggies, or just need a quick
sauce for pasta on the night you don’t feel like cooking a lot of food.
However, I say once you have this lemon butter sauce recipe, get creative with
it! It's incredibly versatile and enhances many dishes. For a quick weeknight
meal, toss it with your favorite pasta, sautéed greens. You can even elevate
your homemade pasta with this delightful sauce!
Ingredients
¼ cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1 garlic clove, grated
¼ teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Freshly ground black pepper
Parsley, for garnish
Pinch red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the
garlic and salt and cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and add the lemon
juice. Season with freshly ground pepper and sprinkle with parsley and red
pepper flakes, if using.
Serve with steamed veggies for dipping or toss with pasta.
