Oatmeal Cookie mix in a jar

Oatmeal Cookie mix in a jar

Looking for a delightful gift for the cookie enthusiast in your life? This jar of oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix is perfect! Just layer the ingredients, attach the instructions, and voilĂ  — an instant treat that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients:

Layer a mason jar with the following items

¾ cup of all-purpose flour

½ cup White Sugar

1 cup oats

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp cinnamon

½ cup Brown sugar

Directions for making cookies:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Empty jar into mixing bowl and add 1 egg, ½ cup melted butter, and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well until a smooth batter.

Spoon out batter onto a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Drop the batter individually and separately so the cookies don’t turn into one full cookie. Cook for 10-12 minutes until cooked.

Note you can add chocolate chips, walnuts, raisins or other addatives to the batter just before you spoon out to bake. I'd suggest measuring out 1/2 cup of anyone of the added flavors.
