Spinach Dip

Spinach Dip 

INGREDIENTS:

1 Large package frozen chopped Spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
1 cup mayonnaise
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons minced shallot
1 garlic clove, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 Cup Greek yogurt or sour cream, your choice

DIRECTIONS:

In a large mixing bowl, blend together your spinach, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, shallot, garlic, salt, pepper and cayenne until completely combined. Gently fold in the Greek yogurt until thoroughly incorporated. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours before serving to allow ingredients to mingle with each other. 


You can serve this spinach dip in a bread bowl, or a regular serving dish.  Remember presentation; be creative and a little artistic as you lay out this dish. Serve it with a combination of fresh vegetables, crackers, chips or pretzels. If there are any leftovers, you can store them in the fridge for about 3-5 days. Do not freeze leftovers.
