 This is the time of year my friends when the area home shows come to your town. One of the main reasons why these shows are schedule in September and October, is because it gives you the winter to save up for the costs associated with improving your home. 

Throughout each of these shows, you can discover over 100 displays that represent the home improvement professionals in your area. No matter what you need, plumbing, improvement or maintenance projects, to those major renovations, to that back yard project, you can find them all at your local home show.

You can even find home cooking utensils, pots and pans, or a demonstration that might teach you something you didn't know.

No matter what you're looking to do to your home, these shows are the key to your education. Pick the brains of the experts, pick up literature to review, because in the end, your new knowledge could save you tons of money.

So my recommendation to you is this, check out your local chamber of commerce, building permit office, or even ask one of your friends when the next home show is coming to your area. Once you find out, GO! You might actually have fun, while gathering new ideas.
