My brother-in-law George, who was a Michelin Star Chef,
taught me how to make this simple sauce in his restaurant when a customer asked
for a shrimp cocktail, but the food order didn’t deliver the premade sauce that
day. He didn’t panic; he just grabbed 4 ingredients and began making it from
scratch. I was in awe once he was finished and I tasted his newly made sauce.
It was perfect! After the shift, I asked him to give me the recipe, and this was
what he gave me. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1 cup of ketchup
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 – 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
Splash of Worcestershire sauce*
Instructions
In a bowl, stir together the ketchup, lemon juice, 1
tablespoon horseradish and Worcestershire sauce.
If desired, add remaining horseradish.
