Mesquite Seasoning Mix

I love creating my own copycat recipes, not only to save money, but to rotate my pantry seasonings and herbs. Whereby blending some amazing blends to enhance my cooking. It’s also because I don’t like the nasty additives the manufacturers are now putting in those blends that are unhealthy. This seasoning mix is so much better than store bought. Try it out and let me know how you like it.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon dried rosemary

½ teaspoon dried sage

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon dry mustard

1 teaspoon brown sugar

⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon dried onion flakes

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons tomato powder optional

2 teaspoons mushroom powder optional

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a coffee grinder, and grind until no large chunks remain. Transfer to an airtight container for storage.
