Pot Roast Seasoning Mix. Why do you spend so much money on
seasoning mixes at the store when you can make them at home with herbs and spices
from your pantry? Here’s how to make McCormick’s Pot Roast Seasoning mix.
1/2 cup beef bouillon
2 tbsp pepper
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp dried rosemary
1 tbsp dried thyme
3/4 tsp bay leaf powder
Mix and store in an airtight jar.
Take it one step further and use either your
blender or a spice grinder to make everything a cohesive fine powder.
When you're ready to make your pot roast, combine 1/3 cup of
your mix with 1 1/2 cups of water and pour over 2 1/2 to 3 lb. of beef.
