Greek Seasoning

Greek Seasoning

In observance of the Greek's Independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1821, let's wish Greece a Happy Independence Day.  In celebration, here is a Greek Seasonings  plan to share with you that can be used for a variety of Greek dishes. This  can be used for Lamb, Beef, or Pork.

Ingredients:
2-3 teaspoons of Sea salt
3 teaspoons of dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried onion
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon arrowroot, or basic cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Directions:

In your food processor, combine all of the above ingredients into the bowl and mix until you have a fine powder. Please make sure that all ingredients are pulverized into powder.  Use an air-tight cover and container to store your seasoning mix. Label it and enjoy saving money.
