We’ve just finished Christmas, and we’re tired after all the
fuss, but this is now January, and you have an opportunity to save money if you
think long and hard about it. You see, in January every store puts their Christmas
supplies out for reduced sale prices, so they don’t have to inventory those
items at the end of the month. This is the perfect time for you to think about
making Christmas ornaments throughout the year, design the now and shop for
your craft supplies and make throughout the year. Buy in bulk and create
ornaments for your family, your friends and even to give to church bazaars or
auctions to raise money for the needy.
You’ve always wanted to make candles as gifts for Christmas.
Well now’s the time for you to buy the supplies you need to do just that at a
reduced price for supplies. Same as above, every craft store doesn’t want to
count stock during inventory season, so shop wisely and save money on your
supplies to make candles and start learning how to make them over the next few
months.
What about making homemade soaps as gifts. Just be sure to plan this DIY project early enough because making soaps takes at least 6-8 weeks to cure and you need to give yourself extra time in case it doesn't turn out like it should before you're ready to gift it to people,
When you are tight on money and want to give something to everyone on the holiday, then you must become creative. This is why I always hit the stores in January to shop for ornament, soap, and candle supplies while they there on a clearance sale to help save money and give me logical crafts to do during the year. I would also plan out my ornaments (3-5) per family or person and make at least two different types of ornaments each as I shop through supplies.
