Italian Seasoning Mix

This easy homemade Italian seasoning will elevate your dishes! I rarely ever buy seasoning blends at the store because they are so expensive. Momma Videccia taught me when I was very young to mix my own blends for a few good reasons. 1) You should already have each of these seasonings in your pantry. 2) Cheaper in the long run, and most importantly, because you will always know what ingredients are in your seasoning blends. So grab your dried herbs, and let’s make some Italian seasoning blend

Ingredients

3 tablespoons dried sweet basil

2 tablespoons dried oregano

2 tablespoons dried marjoram

2 tablespoons dried rosemary

2 tablespoons dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried sage

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper

Instructions

Whisk all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Pour into a tightly sealed jar and keep up to 3 months in a cool, dark location.
